Dr. Hill, My husband was saved at the evening service you preached at FBCW on Oct. 9, 2005. I was looking over the website of FBCW recently and saw that you would be speaking in Atlanta soon and I wanted to check out your website. I ordered the CD message the Valley of Baca because I wanted to hear it; I thought it might help my mother who is about to be taking care of my dad through his second round of chemotherapy for lung cancer. I have already encountered someone else who might benefit from hearing that message. A woman I work with who prayed for my husband, that he would respond to the Spirit's call in the evening service at FBCW, her son (in his twenties) passed away yesterday. I will be giving her the CD I purchased as soon as I see her. I've ordered another to give to my mother and one to keep to give to the next person God sends my way. God has blessed ME for hearing it, and I thank you so much. God bless you and your family.

Dear Dr. Hill, I love you; even though I don't know you. You came to my church FBCW in Oct.9, 2005. I was lost and headed to hell and I can remember what pastor Johnny said before he introduced you, he said, that if he could have chosen a dad he would have chosen you. When he called you an evangelist I didn't even know what that was. But when you started your sermon, you had my attention. I still today can almost remember that whole sermon. That day I got saved and have not looked back. The Lord has called me to be a preacher 8 months after I got saved. I did not have a high school diploma, but to make a long story short I am at the extension center at NOBTS and just finished my first year. Brother Hill, I Thank God that you have obeyed God and I pray that in my life. You have been a blessing to me and my wife's life.

Love,

My pastor loaned a book for me to read titled, In the Shadow of His Hands. Out of all the books that I have purchased and was given to me after my 13 yr. olds son cross-over to heaven on August 14, 2007, that has been the most remarkable book that I have read. I am thankful that I was introduced to Mr. Junior Hill and I look forward to purchasing more of his books. I hope one day, Mr. Hill, that you will be closer to Douglas, Ga. so I may come and hear you speak. God Bless!

Bro. Hill, Just wanted to tell you what a blessing you were Tuesday night at Parkway Baptist in Fort Oglethorpe, GA. My oldest son, Brandon Barry, sings bass with the group that was there...The Old Paths. I brought some ladies from my Sunday School class at Temple Baptist (Ken Trivettes' church) to hear you and The Old Paths. They both have had some real struggles in their lives and your message was such a blessing and an encouragement to them and me. I wanted you to know that I appreciate you and will be praying for you in your ministry. You blessed my socks off! May God continue to bless you with strength, health, safety and boldness to preach the Word. Sincerely, Regina Barry

Received your wonderful message at FBC Jackson, MS. this past Sunday. Didn't get to speak to you, I was in the choir. It was very crowded in the halls afterward. I can't tell you how thought provoking and reviving your messages were. Thank you so much. I still have tears in my eyes. "Amazing Love How Can It Be, That Thou My God Would Die For Me". All will be forgiven. Thanks again for your going out and giving the message.

On Sunday, April 20, 2008, we had the divine opportunity to hear Dr. Hill's sermon at First Baptist Church Jackson, Mississippi. It took me back to a simpler time when I was a child and remember hearing the great sermons of that day.

We were moved by Dr. Hill's message, as were, several in the congregation that gave their life to Christ. It was an honor and privilege to hear this man humbly preach the word. The message has made us stringer in our beliefs and will surely make our everyday lives more fulfilling.

May God Bless You Keep You,

Bro. Hill, I really enjoyed your message at the Indian Trial meeting. My heart and my mind was really touched. We have talked there and at FBC JAX. You remind me so much of my father. He was a Southern Baptist Minister for 55yrs before going on to be with the Lord in 05. he was a great story teller as yourself and could always keep your interest during his sermon while preaching Gods words.

Thanks, Steve

Dear Bro. Hill,

This past Monday I had the opportunity to hear you speak at Easthaven. My mother sings with the LC Chorale. Daddy left this world in June. They were married 64 years and 9mths. It's wonderful to see her face when she sings. I cried and attempted to sing thru The Old Rugged Cross which was his favorite song. Your message was so uplifting and the humor mingled in was wonderful.

God must be so pleased with you and your ministries. Many Blessings to come ........

Dear Bro. Hill.........How wonderful the internet! Over the years I've thought about you and finally decided to Google your name. Lo and behold, there you were! I have fond memories of the days you were the pastor of Woodland Avenue Baptist Church in Birmingham. I remember the day you left, telling us all you were answering a call to full-time evangelism. With all due respect to those who followed you there, Woodland Avenue was never the same. I'm glad to have found you. I pray for your ministry.

I cannot possibly describe the blessing that I have received from your sermons (live in Jacksonville, as well as the CD's in my car). Last week in Jacksonville, you shook my hand and signed two of your books. I was honored. I couldn't put either book down until I was finished. The chapter that your wife wrote in your autobiography is a lesson that I shall hold forever dear in my heart. It has brought positive change and encouragement to me as a Christian and as a wife. You both are such a blessing to me and I am sure to multitudes of others. Thank you and God Bless You both.

Pastor Hill, I have heard you many times, how you truly touched my heart. I pray God will continue to bless you and your family. I just finished reading The Shadow of His Hand for the second time. It is truly carrying me through some very troubled waters. My son 46 has stage four melanoma, my son-in-law (a Pastor)50 with a diseased heart. I ordered four of these books to give to my children. My heart is breaking, but your book keeps me so focused on our Precious Lord and I know He will carry us through and the book gives me hope and joy.  I love to hear Mr. Junior Hill and look forward to seeing and hearing him preach at First Baptist Church of Jacksonville on the 3rd of Sept. This is my home church and I have bought several different sermons by Mr. Hill. Thanks for all the encouraging words that keep my faith strong. Dear Bro. Junior,
As I write this little note, I am anxiously awaiting the finale night at the pastor's conference, First Baptist-Jacksonville. Every year when I get the brochure, I scan the speakers looking for your name.  I was so excited this year that I would be able to hear you speak twice.  My daughters and husband laugh at me when I start talking about how you are my favorite evangelist of ALL time. Then they always respond by saying, "We know, Mom, he signed your bible!"  Needless to say I had to show that autograph to my new friend at the conference this week.  Bro. Junior, your sincere, humble, truthful messages always speak to my heart and are such a blessing to me. Can't wait to get to the service tonight and get your newest book autographed!  God bless you and your family as you continue to serve Him! Thank you for your faithful ministry and Christ-like example!
Praise God!

Junior Hill:  What a joy it was to have you at Canaan Baptist Church on October 16th of this year.  I am about half finished with your latest book and I don't want to put it down.  I was surprised to read the beautiful tribute you gave to my uncle Rod Feltham who served as the music director at Woodland Avenue in West End. My mother and Rod were brother and sister.  I knew there was a connection there between you two but it had slipped my mind that you were at Woodland Avenue Baptist Church the same time that Rodney was.  Oh how I wish you had known of his "homegoing" on June 5th, 2005.  Melba had been gone for 9 months and he was heartsick and lonely because he had tended to her every need for over 7 years.  I will be checking your schedule and hope to attend another service when you are in Birmingham again.  Larry and I will pray for your ministry and hope to see you again this side of Heaven.

Dr. Hill,

Let me begin by saying thank you for faithfully preaching the Gospel of Christ and providing a fitting example for all of us young preachers.  I have had the blessing of hearing you speak on several different occasions and God has greatly used you to inspire me to strive for that mark that has been set before me in Christ Jesus.  God has used you to bring numerous people into the kingdom and it is my prayer that he would continue to use you to point many more to the King of Kings, Jesus Christ.  I would also like to express my heart felt joy that I received from reading your autobiography.  God divinely positioned this book in my life in a time in which I needed it most.  Thank you so much and may God continue to watch over you as you spread the greatest message there is.

I heard you preach at the California Baptist Convention last year for the first time. I want to say that you were a great blessing to me. I greatly admire and look up to great men of faith like yourself. Your preaching is my kind of preaching. Your wit, sense of humor, and vivid illustrations really bring the message close to the heart. I myself being a country boy from Huntingdon, TN and a preacher of the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ, enjoy good southern preaching. The best preachers I know are from the South. God has greatly blessed your ministry and I pray that He will continue to do great and mighty things through you. I am looking forward to reading your biography.

Pastor, I wanted to thank you for coming to Bellevue this past weekend. My husband and I have had the honor of sitting under the teaching and preaching one of the greatest, most sincere, humble, compassionate, wise, spirit filled pastors of all time, Adrian Rogers, for about 7 years until The Lord called him home last November.  We love and respect our new pastor Steve Gains and his commitment to the "old" Baptist traditions and way of communicating God's word.  But, as I sat and listened to you I choked back tears because I was so moved by your sincere presentation of a "simple gospel message" and the way you were a "combination" so to speak of the best qualities we see in each of these great men of God---as a new parent, I was so thankful, even though my children are still nursery age, that you directed so many comments directly to the children asking them to be saved---no one is that specific anymore.  I was saved in a revival meeting as a seven year old child so I know that children do listen to what you say.  I pray my precious ones will be saved at an early age and I hope that your example will be followed by all pastors who hear you appeal so earnestly to the children.  As I sat there Sunday night I was transfixed by the truths you shared and the way you humbly delivered these truths-it was so refreshing to my soul.  You made us both want to be closer to Jesus, more a servant to others and a better example for our children.  You are a blessing and I hope you will return to Bellevue over and over again.

Dear Bro. Hill:
Thank you so much for coming to our "Path's Bible Conference" at Temple Baptist Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Sept. 19.

We enjoyed your message so much.  I told Bro. Ken (Ken Trivette)  we could have listened to you for hours.  Our time was much too short. Between Junior Hill, The Hendersons, The Mike Speck Singers and Bro. Tom Hayes.....oh how God Blessed our church this year for our annual Bible Conference.

P.S. I truly enjoyed reading your new book, "The Call Him Junior" and sorry I read it so fast, not to savor it longer. Your message will help me in my daily struggle to be more like Jesus.

God Bless You and remember my favorite

It was my privilege to hear Junior at the recent Texas Praise Fest at Gaylord Texas on Saturday September 2. My what a blessing. My wife and I were so wonderfully blessed by the sermon "Passing Through Baca." So when I found this website I found a cd of sermons with that one on it and I have ordered it.

I have been a Baptist pastor for 46 years and have heard some great preachers, but Bro. Hill is at the top of the list,

Brother Junior,
I just want to encourage you to continue to go strong for Jesus as you have encouraged us all. My wife and I have heard you many times at the CEC in Conway, SC. Due to surgeries in the past years we've missed most of the conferences, but have tapes from the past ones we've been to that you shared with us all your wonderful love for Jesus. Thank you Sir, for being who you are, and not trying to be someone else. The ministry God has through you is an encouragement to the one He has through us. Again thank you, and may you continue to be the blessing that you are.

Hello there! I just wanted to say thank you for the message you gave in the summer of 2000 at Praysmill Baptist Church titles Lilies of the Valley. That was the morning that I truly gave my heart to Jesus. There were several occasions that I wanted to be saved, but that was the day I gave my body, heart and soul to the Lord for him to take control of my life. I wanted to that you for your faithfulness in serving and ministering Gods word because if you had not've been obedient, I might not have surrendered my life. Thanks again. I love you, Alison Kaiser

I grew up a pastor's kid. I am now a minister's wife, my husband is studying to be a pastor and is currently serving as Minister of Music and Sr. Adults.  I have met MANY evangelists and well known pastors.  I have found most of them to be arrogant, unfriendly and overly confident.  My father is a sincere and humble man.  I grew up thinking that all pastors and preachers were as humble and sincere as my father.  I have found them to be few and far between.  I was excited to find these traits in you Brother Hill.  Out of all of the preachers we met at Pastor's conference in Jacksonville, you were the only personable one.  Thank you for your wonderful preaching.  God has used you to lift us up when we were in the rough times of ministry.  May God continue to bless your ministry!

Hello Brother Hill;
My name is Thomas Garner. I am blessed to Pastor GloryLand Baptist Church in Dallas Ga..
I just finished reading, And They Call Him Junior. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I picked up a lot of nuggets from it, and I thank you for writing it.
I would like to sit down and pick your brain for Wisdom, I know you are a very humble man and have a low self image.
I saw you several years ago at Decula Ga. at Hebron Baptist, during a conference. (Pastor Larry Winn).
I was the first one in the altar.
Your sermon was on being a fisher.
I saw in you something I rarely see in any man. The leadership of the Lord, Wisdom, Patience, Down to earthness.
The ability to get a simple message across with power, and conviction.
I later saw you just last month at Grace Baptist Church in Hiram Ga. Due to wrong information I arrived at 5:30 pm. only to find out you preached at 5:00 and was done already.
However I did manage to leave there with a C.D. of the morning service. I mean it when I say that in my opinion, you are the Greatest Evangelist of my time.
Our church is only 6 years old. This year we have baptized over 40 souls. We are growing and God is working here, there is no doubt. We have had to build on two floors to the back of the church, change our baptismal and right now we have 15 awaiting baptism.
I just wanted you to know I am praying for you and I would really like to think that Junior Hill is lifting my name and our church up to God!
I drove a over the road truck for 30 years so my wife and I, really related to your book about being gone and the loneliness of both you and Carole!
I pray for long life and Gods blessings on you and your's!

Bro Junior
I attended the Pastors conference in Jacksonville Fl earlier this year. I pastored a small church years ago before I willfully disobeyed God and turned to sin and self for 30 years. I am so thankful that Jesus opened his forgiving arms and restored the joy of my salvation. The shame and burden of 30 years of disobedience is unbelievably humbling.  My pastor told me about Jacksonville and provided a way for my wife and I to attend. Oh my, what a wonderful place for a believer to be. I couldn't figure out why the Lord had provided me this opportunity. When you got up an preached to us on backsliding I kept looking around the auditorium at all these wonderful servants of God, wishing I could sit down and talk to each one of them and you, just to tell you how thankful we, your fallen brothers are, that you've stayed faithful to your calling and how hopeful we are that you continue to resist the devil.  The shame and burden of sin is horrible and even though all is forgiven the consequences can't be taken away.

Dear Bro. Hill,
I want to send this note to you to let you know how much I appreciate your ministry and to encourage you today. I attended last year's Pastors conference at Jacksonville , FL and heard you along with many other powerful preachers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I purchased the CD package with all of the messages that were preached that week and your message on Enduring Hardness as a good soldier in Christ from Second Timothy has encouraged me over and over again through this past year. I have let some of my preacher friends listen to the message as well that it may encourage and strengthen them. Bro. Billy Henry of whom you are acquainted is one of them. Thank you Bro. Hill for being a real man of God and not putting on aires but just being who you are. I too am a country preacher and I can identify with the way you deliver the Gospel. I have prayed for you through this past year.

It was a blessing hearing your messages of salvation at the Florence Baptist Temple on October 30th through November 2nd.  Both of my children responded to your call and entered the narrow door to salvation.  My heart filled with joy witnessing many lost souls walk the aisle to receive eternal life and salvation after hearing you preach.  May God continue to bless your ministry on earth.  You truly bring God glory.  AMEN.

Hi, Brother Junior.
It was such a blessing and a joy to have you preach at FBCW yesterday.  The Spirit of the Lord just flows out of you abundantly.  Ever since I got to volunteer at your book table at Real Evangelism the Lord has put you in the place of a spiritual dad in my heart.  You have the sweetest spirit and profound godly wisdom.  I love you, Brother Junior.  Send me a message once in a while to tell me how you are doing and what specific prayer needs you and your wife.

Bro. Junior
I want to thank you for your message on "Enduring as a Good Soldier". I was at the Pastor's conference in Jascksonville. I was having a hard year in the ministry and even thought about give it up. The light shown in my heart through your message. "God didn't call us to a picnic, but to be soldiers in battle". I pray that if you ever get discouraged, that you'll remember that there is a small town preacher praying for you every morning at the same time. My church loves you and appreciates you and they don't even know you. However, they do know this story and they're glad that I listen to God in your message, they still have a pastor, one that is literally on fire for God and for the souls of men and women. Thank you, friend. May God reach down His hand and touch you and bless you this year.

Dear Brother Hill
As a Lay Minister at Kirksville Baptist Church Richmond, Ky. You have given me encouragement to minister to those where I preach to the elderly at an extended living housing complex. I sometimes get discouraged that they seem not to be encouraged when speaking God's word to them. I realize that I will have to let the Holy Spirit do his work in them. The Holy Spirit through your sermon challenged me to press on in His work. It was wonderful to hear you once again at the Pastors Conference in Nashville Tenn. First of all, my son was saved at a Revival that you preached at in Tupelo, MS at Harrisburg Baptist Church back around 1992.  My son is now 20 years old and is still a very devoted servant of the Lord.  I thank God to this day for using you as his messenger and revealer of the Holy Ghost to my son.  Second, I loaned out my copy of your book, "God's Cure For A Broken Heart" and never got it back.  It was signed by you to my son Jason Vassar.  Is it possible to get another copy of this book with your signature?   I will gladly pay whatever the cost is?

I met Junior Hill at a preaching conference in Jacksonville Fl. He was the most encouraging person I have ever met. I believe he helped my ministry more than any other speaker at the conference (though they all were amazing!).
In a day when ministers are constantly bombarded with attacks for preaching God's Word properly and fighting to get the truth of God out - at least we have a "Corner Man" telling us we can go "one more round"!
Junior Hill is that Corner Man...
Thanks Junior

It was good to talk with you a few days ago. I told our Director of Missions to send you a letter of confirmation concerning our Associational Evangelism Conference. All the churches are looking forward to your coming in March.
I need your permission to use a couple of personal illustrations you gave in your book "Words of Encouragement." I'd like to use them in a sermon if that's o.k.

Bro Hill,
Just wanted to thank you when you recently visited us at Bellevue. I was the young man who had you sign your latest book on Encouragement so I could send it to a family member in Iraq. When he was home for 6 weeks in late Dec Mark met with Dr Rogers and he stated that your book was a tremendous blessing to him and many others that are over there. Mark is back there now but he will be home for good in Mid April.
May Our Lord continue to go before you and continue to bless your great ministry.
Let it be known that you are deeply loved and appreciated at Bellevue.

Brother Hill,
You deliver an important message of the need for salvation and the need to accept it without haste!
THIS IS A MUST SEE, UNDERSTAND, AND ACCEPT MESSAGE!!!
You are one of his gifted...in that you tell others of who Jesus Christ is, and his love for us, and his saving grace.
You strike a message for all....old and young!  That is evident in the many who were saved at our church last Sunday.
Please know we so appreciate evangelists who are willing to tell others of his truth, and mercy!

Junior, I have enjoyed your ministry, in sermons and print, for many years.  A very good friend of mine, and one I think you know, has informed me that you are about to change the name of your ministry to "Big Biscuit Ministries" and your pen name to Junior "Doughboy" Hill.  After seeing you on the cover of your last book dancing in a purple tu-tu I think there may be some merit to his story.  Actually Sam Wolfe and I have been friends for some 20-25 years and I truly do enjoy your work for the kingdom.  I look forward to seeing you somewhere down the road.  You have plans to be in Dallas in August, and maybe we can work something out whereby we can meet personally.  Are you booked for '06 yet.  If not, maybe we can get you out here to the Beaumont area.  Let me know if you'd like to come to this area, and I'll see if we can work out an area wide crusade.

Dear in Christ,

My heart felt and most loving greetings to you in the wonderful name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. His richest blessings shall be upon you forever. I am Katta. Edukondalu. I got your e-mail address from the guest book on website I humbly narrate the existed conditions of me. I came from Hindu converted family. I studied up to B.A, and I never tempt for a better job. As per the right call of our Lord Jesus I choose of my profession as God servants, It is just to share something about my ministry with you for your kind co-operation.

We the group of Pastors, Evangelists and social workers formed this Gospel work on last 8 years and working in rural and urban areas where is no proper Evangelical work and community development activities. In these areas most of the people are uneducated, full of old, traditional believers and full of Hinduism. As they uneducated they are stubborn to hear the word of God and to be a civilized persons. We have no affiliation with any organization. Most of our fellow pastors are very poor and really depend on their prayerful believeness. They live in huts which are periodically destroyed and natural calamities such as cyclones, floods and fire accidents. If they have a little monthly support they will be able to do the ministry with much enthusiasm.
We have a Christian library which really plays a major role in our Gospel work. And we have a orphanage where we are looking after some parentless children. We are looking forward hopefully for a helping hand to support our ministry. I  whole heartedly invite you to India. Please come once and see our work and encourage us with your blessed ministry. Please share about our ministry with all your co-workers and fellow Christians and request them on our behalf to uphold our ministry in their daily prayers.
We are in need of a good quantity of library material such as tracts, Bibles, books and tapes both audio and video. If God enables you please stretch your hand of generosity to support us in the way you can. We sincerely pray for your welfare and prosperity. Please convey our heartily greetings to all who are co-operating with you in your work. I await for your kind and favorable response hopefully and prayerfully. Thanking you.

Sincerely,
In His Saving Grip

Brother Junior came to our church many years ago when I was a young associate pastor.  I was in the great crisis of my life, that of the reality of salvation.  Brother Junior was used in a supernatural way in both my life and the life of Eastdale Baptist Church of Montgomery, Alabama.  I have never forgotten that experience or the man God used to speak during that hour.  This Man of God has a special place in my heart and my memories.  Brother Junior, I want you to know that I've never gotten over being saved during that week so many years ago.  I will also never forget entering into a young couple's home where you announced: "Brother Steve, this woman's house is not near as dirty as you told me it would be."

I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed your message this morning at Bellevue Baptist Church. One of your points and illustrations particularly touched my heart. The one about the devil telling people they are 'too young' and that mother who told her son he was too young to be saved. Tragic. Before I married I was a junior church teacher in an Baptist church and That was something I always had trouble
